’Nduja Egg Toast Recipe

Makes: 1 serving

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 large egg
  • ’Nduja (we recommend up to ¼ cup, but feel free to adjust according to your desired level of heat)
  • Salt
  • 3 to 4 small flakes of caciocavallo cheese (optional, also feel free to replace with your favorite firm cheese)
  • 1 to 2 slices of bread

Heat a skillet of medium temperature. Add the ‘nduja and allow to melt, stirring frequently. Use a spoon to gather the melted ’nduja into the middle of the pan, then crack the egg directly on top.

Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the egg and, if desired, add a few flakes of cheese around the yolk. Cover the pan and allow to cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the egg white is fully cooked through.

Meanwhile, toast the bread slices in either a toaster or in a hot pan. Serve the egg on top of the toast.

Buon appetito!
